The famous rape scene in the movie The Entity
The Entity (1981/1982) is a supernatural horror film directed by Sidney J. Furie, based on Frank De Felitta’s novel and the real 1974 Doris Bither case.
The rape scene is famous, but not graphic, mainly psychologic. The filmmaking technology of the time didn’t allow for special effects that were good enough for a more visually striking scene. It’s also possible that this wasn’t the director’s intention.
Today, you’d get a scene with more nudity and breasts, like the one in the movie Hollow Man, which is more violent.

Some informations about the movie for the curious
Single mother Carla Moran (Barbara Hershey) is violently raped in her Los Angeles home by an invisible force. The attacks continue, accompanied by poltergeist activity that terrorizes her and her three children. Skeptical psychiatrist Dr. Phil Sneiderman (Ron Silver) attributes the assaults to psychological trauma, but Carla turns to parapsychologists who witness the phenomena.
They stage an elaborate experiment, reconstructing her house in a lab and attempting to freeze the entity with liquid helium. The confrontation proves the entity is real, though it ultimately escapes. Carla leaves her home for good, the entity’s final taunt ringing in her ears.
For those who have interest for culture more than rape scenes and want to watch the movie The Entity.
